Hydrogen inhalation or can improve the elderly heart and lung function!
Time : 2025-02-21
This study examined the effects of hydrogen inhalation on the American Heart Association
cardiovascular risk Score, health-related fitness index, and cardiometabolic markers in 16
people over 65 years of age.
Of the 16 subjects, 14 were female and 2 were male, with an average age of 68.1± 5.3
Of the 16 subjects, 14 were female and 2 were male, with an average age of 68.1± 5.3
years. All subjects inhaled 4% hydrogen gas for 20 minutes a day for 4 weeks (28 days).
They found that the American Heart Association heart disease risk score decreased
significantly, and cardiorespiratory fitness and hand grip strength improved by 22.4
percent and 4.6 percent, respectively, compared to before hydrogen inhalation.
Cardiorespiratory fitness, also known as cardiorespiratory endurance, is the ability of
a person's lungs and heart to carry oxygen from the air and transport it to tissue cells for use.
